AWT Leads the Ship Routing Industry

Incorporated in 1996 in California, Applied Weather Technology, Inc. (AWT) quickly became a major player in providing ship routing services. In 1996, AWT introduced the BonVoyage System (BVS) on-board routing software. BVS is now the world leading on-board routing software product with ongoing enhancements and upgrades produced by the AWT expert development staff. Since its founding, AWT has attracted and hired the industry leaders in routing and End of Voyage (EOV) services. We also focused on expanding and strengthening the management team who currently lead AWT. 2002 marked the opening of AWT's first satellite office in New Jersey.

Additional offices have since expanded to:

• New York
• Seoul

The most recent office was established in Shanghai in 2006. These offices cover the worldwide need for routing services with clients from over 50 countries.

AWT is the world leader in on-board system installations with over 3000 subscribing vessels for BonVoyage System (BVS) products. In 2007, AWT also became the world leader in routing and End of Voyage services with over 1500 vessels underway at any one time.
